Features​

The Lux Oscillator is an all-in-one indicator that includes 5 exclusive oscillators that the user can choose. Each oscillator is described in the following pages:

Basic Settings​

The Lux Oscillator toolkit has various settings affecting the behavior of the oscillators, each one described in the sub-sections below:

Type​

Determines the type of oscillator to display, options include:

  • Ultimate Stochastic
  • Ultimate MACD
  • Ultimate RSI
  • Advanced
  • Pivot

Each oscillator type is described in the pages given in features.

Length​

Determines the period of each oscillator (with the exception of the Ultimate MACD), with higher length values aiming to give information about longer-term price variations. 17 by default.

Dynamic Overbought/Oversold Levels​

Determine whether to display dynamic overbought/oversold levels (displayed as dynamic levels on the top/bottom pane of the oscillator). Disabling this setting will return fixed overbought/oversold levels with a location that can be changed in the Style settings.

Ultimate MACD​

The Ultimate MACD settings affect the Ultimate MACD oscillator.

  • Fast Ultimate MACD : Fast period of the Ultimate MACD
  • Slow Ultimate MACD : Slow period of the Ultimate MACD
  • Signal Ultimate MACD : Period of the Ultimate MACD Signal Line
